Something and Something Else is a one-man design studio, run by James Cotton. His style is clear, yet bold – a visual direction that is also exemplified by his art projects. Shown above is a photo from his Fine Art Degree Show, dealing with the studio as the workspace for artists. The Bruce Naumann reference is clear: My conclusion was that I was an artist and I was in the studio, then whatever it was I was doing in the studio must be art.
